Terms of service

The agreement between your salon and Adorna, in the plainest words we can manage.

Last updated 29 August 2026

Who this agreement is between

These terms are between Adorna and the business that opens an account, called "you" or "the salon" below. Whoever accepts them must be authorised to bind that business. If you do not accept them, do not use Adorna.

What Adorna provides

Adorna is booking and operations software for appointment-based businesses in Kuwait: a calendar, a customer list, services and prices, a public booking page, reminders, and payment links. We provide the software. We do not perform the services your customers book, and we are not a party to what you agree with them.

Accounts and access

You open one workspace per business and invite your team into it. You choose who gets access and at what level, and you are responsible for what they do with it. Keep credentials private, and tell us at once if an account is used without your permission.

Trial and billing

Every new workspace starts with a 30-day trial. No card is taken and nothing renews on its own. After the trial we invoice you directly and you pay by the method we agree; there is no automatic charge and no cut of each booking. Fees are in Kuwaiti dinars and exclude any tax that applies. If an invoice goes unpaid we will tell you before we limit access.

Your data and your customers' data

The records you put into Adorna stay yours: your customers, your bookings, your prices. You decide what to collect and why; we hold and process it so the software works, and we follow your instructions. You are responsible for having the right to collect it and for telling your customers how you use it. Our privacy policy explains what we do with it on your behalf.

Acceptable use

Use Adorna for your own business. Do not resell access, probe or overload the service, upload anything unlawful, or send marketing through it to people who did not ask for it. Do not use it to book or advertise services that are illegal in Kuwait.

Payments from your customers

Online payments run through a licensed payment gateway on your own merchant account, so the money moves from your customer to you and never through us. The gateway's terms and fees apply to those transactions. Adorna never sees or stores card numbers. Deposits, refunds, and cancellation charges are yours to set and yours to honour.

Reminders and messages

Adorna sends booking confirmations and reminders by WhatsApp, SMS, and email through third-party providers. You are the sender in your customers' eyes, so you need their consent to be contacted and you must respect their opt-outs. Providers apply their own rules and rate limits, and a message can be delayed or refused for reasons outside our control.

Availability and support

We aim to keep Adorna up and fast, and we schedule maintenance for quiet hours where we can. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee yet; when we do, it will be written here. Support runs on Kuwait business hours over WhatsApp and email.

Who owns what

Adorna owns the software, the design, and the brand. You own your content and your data. Using Adorna gives you the right to use the software while your account is active and nothing more; it transfers no part of it to you.

Warranties and limits

Adorna is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be free of faults, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost bookings, or indirect loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that Kuwaiti law does not allow us to limit.

Ending the agreement

You can close your workspace whenever you want, and we will not charge you for the period after it closes. We can suspend an account that goes unpaid, breaks these terms, or puts other users at risk, and we will tell you why. After closure you have 30 days to export your data before we delete it.

Changes

The product changes often and these terms will follow it. We post the new version here, and when a change materially affects you we tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Adorna after that is how you accept it.

Governing law and how to reach us

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of Kuwait have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before it gets that far, write to us at hello@getadorna.com. Most things end there.
