Deposits before you hold the chair

Take a deposit the moment the booking is made, paid online on your salon's own merchant account. The money settles to you, not to us.

What the customer pays, and when

A deposit is a policy you set once, and the booking page applies it to every online booking.

Charge a fixed amount per visit or a percentage of the visit total, up to full prepayment. A fixed deposit is capped at the total and split across the lines by price, so what the customer paid always reconciles against the sale.

An unpaid booking still holds the slot for a window you choose, then cancels itself. No manual chasing, and no chair sitting empty on a booking that was never going to be paid.

The desk can also send a deposit link for a booking taken over the phone. Gift cards apply first, and a visit covered in full skips the gateway entirely.

A redirect is not a payment

A browser can be sent to a success page without any money moving. Adorna never takes the browser's word for it.

  1. The customer pays

On the gateway's own secure page, with whichever payment methods your merchant account has enabled.

  2. Our server asks the gateway

The signed webhook is checked, and the amount is fetched from the gateway again rather than read out of the message. A sweep every few minutes catches anything a webhook missed.

  3. The booking is held

Only a verified payment moves a booking out of awaiting deposit. Refunds go back through the same gateway, and a refund with an unclear outcome is flagged rather than assumed.

After the money moves

Checkout writes a receipt, and gift cards keep their own balance through sales and refunds.

Receipts the customer can keep

Every checkout produces a bilingual receipt with the lines, the total in dinars, and how it was paid. It has its own link and a PDF, and it rides along with the receipt email.

Gift cards that stay balanced

Sell a card for an amount or for specific services, email it to the recipient, and spend it down at checkout. Sales and refunds move the balance, and manual corrections are logged.
